so far up to DP, vol 3 I think. sort of put the series down for a while since gsc onward (sans RS) was just okay and emerald was mind-numbingly boring, singlehandedly killed my enthusiasm and i've had a hard time getting back in since
RS was great though, just bat-shit enough to be interesting and just well-written enough to be compelling. my hoenn bias probably doesn't help, but it was genuinely super fun to read and I really hope there's more stuff like that in the future.
DP is testing me a bit- I'm fine with comedy but the trio is so sincerely autistic that I'm getting secondhand embarrassment lol. the focus is already starting to shift away from the heavy-handed "comedy" routines though, so i'm content. just need to pick up the books instead of the games for once.
