I am talking to people that have played the game, dingus. Each city based on a board makes fun of and plays homage to board culture. Outcast Island is the first /pol/ place you go and it's hilarious. Polony has no jokes, it's completely serious and feels like playing through some redpill copypasta.

It has no jokes. It doesn't even have any quality control either. The signs in the town are lowercase, the various NPCs just spout talking points, and it stands out like a sore thumb compared to other irreverent places. Telekino is way more racist but it's also fucking hilarious, has effort behind it, and has shit to do. Polony is boring, there's a single unique trainer until Hitler migrates there, and Trump gets a unique portrait even though he can't be battled.

Bottlecaps can max out an IV. Give it to the Blobbos to get a max IV one.

Everstone is the item that prevents evolution. The parent holding it will pass down their nature to all babies. An adamant blobbos holding an Everstone will make adamant kids.

I think it's better than anything GF has put out, at least in terms of gameplay.
A lot of the jokes and memes just fall flat, but it really is a solid game underneath that and scratches an itch I've had since I was a teenager.

At least shadilay made it enjoyable to explore. The game is worth experiencing just for gaining the context of the soundtrack alone. I will say the entirety of Cerulean was so fucking stupid that I almost dropped the game during it. All of it would have felt dated even it was written in 2015. "Check your privilege" and "I'm so triggered" jokes played completely fucking straight, just awful. Glad I didn't because the humor is a lot better from that point forward, but goddamn if that isn't a terrible first impression.

Circlejerks "happen" on 4chan but can be broken up because of the structure of the site, the same is not true of a private discord. I don't really see how inviting trannies into your private discord to talk about how black lives matter is the same as devs coordinating emails.

I love Clover, but it's ungodly difficult. You have to basically make all new teams for every gym/trainer, and it's annoying to grind the Battle Club trainers since they're the only ones who give competitive XP. Took forever to get a whole team to deal with the Carlito, as well as a team for the fire gym. I got to the battle with the Professor before Victory Road, and I couldn't beat him; so I quit.

Understandable, the hack is made for people thst played most games from gen 1 to 6, know about IV EVs and smogon sets but still it's not the kind of hack that requires you to switch teams for every important battle and is pretty easy to grind thanks to exp share.

Whether or not you like the writing, humor, and themes, from a purely mechanical and gameplay perspective, it's the best pokemon game I've ever played. It has just enough teeth to demand you pay attention, but not so much that you need hours of autistic planning to play the game. There are so many pokemon, some with multiple incredibly distinct builds that you can always find something new. It's an incredibly fun nuzlocke, and has gotten more than one of my friends to realize that it's the pokemon game they always wanted, and reminded them why they liked the series.

Most legendaries are pretty meh. They have a niche, and rely on it, but are otherwise pretty much on par with "good" pokemon. I don't think any of the legendaries available before the Elite 4 are better than Oburanyxo, Semdemen, or Spookzilla, just to name some standouts.

Really, only Endranther, Boarnograf, Griffawork, and Clovenix are stronger than anything else.

This is just blatantly wrong, Scytill has an amazing type, stats and moves, Foryu is an incredible offensive tank, Notridley is a baby Rayquaza, Tentaquil is Tentaquil.
The only legendary that's "not that good" is Evacycle and it's still a top tier with super high stats who can do 100000 different things

It's bulky enough, and hits hard enough to just invalidate a lot of pokemon and brute force through hard fights you don't have answers for. Ultimately, pokemon like Semdemen or Spookzilla end up stronger in the ling term, but Pikotton steamrolls a huge portion of the game, and saves you pokemon for Ebin.

The Tyrone and Ginosaji are by far the weakest, Tyrone is an absolute joke in particular. A bulky psychic type is a great pivot in those fights anyways, but it puts in super solid work against Saxton, Ben, and the champ, which are all much harder. There are better pokemon for the role, for sure, but Sjwhale can do it if that's what you have, and has advantages that similar pokemon don't, such as Mozzamozel and Upchucken.

Carlito and Stump are the biggest run killers in the game. If there is any single fight that redeems a pokemon, it's one of those two, and Hitmonana handles Carlito incredibly well. That's good enough.
Roynapalm is great, though.

Darude is exactly who I was thinking of when I said that. His most threatening pokemon aren't actually Ground type. Try it if you haven't.
Also Kanye, but, he's less dangerous overall.
Heck, even against Polk, it's good against Pollefin, and a great pivot besides.

Regardless if your angle is "they're easy" then it doesn't matter about viability does it? Youngster Joey is easy pickings and can be defeated by Clovenix or Gampster all the same. If I wanted a "bulky Psychic for pivots" there's tons of better shit to pick from.
You're misunderstanding me, I'm not saying anything on that list is literally unusable, I'm saying they're bad. You can use your unevolved starter in any main game and sweep the whole game, it's still not good.
Don't get the point on Crystaking either, you're saying it's good against...Galavire, Galaviste and Vaultevour? It's not even good against his actual ground mons. I used Crystaking for a whole run on a hail team and it was still bad, it's probably the worst ice mon in the game after Blobbos.
You're clearly approaching this from the angle of a pro hardcore nuzlocker which is whatever, that does radically change how you play things and value mons, but even then I don't see how any of the mons I listed are good for any point of a nuzlocke over actually highly viable mons
