>>50674187Basically, yeah. People don't usually talk about which Pokemon they designed outside of interviews and when they do they're under mounds of red tape. I think it was Turner himself who once pointed out that GF contracts have stipulations about what you can and cannot talk about online or in interviews. One of these rules was that you can't acknowledge fan works or fan art and another forbids you from being overt about what you've created for the series or your time in the company. These are very Japanese terms, though. I think the credit for your work one got overturned a few years ago and with the big reveal of the actual woman who designed Pikachu, the media flooded the fuck in to try and make specific artists more well known. Some of them sort of flocked to the idea and tried to gain followings online for some of theirs as a result. It's sort of a mess for the time being. But that's also just my take on all this.
