We should be getting new Johto games after SV (and its possible DLCs).

Do you think they're going to be more like LGPE, BDSP, Legends, or something else entirely?

I'm a bit torn. I would love a game with the presentation and style of lets go - authentic early gen artstyle, but with the PLA catching mechanics instead of Go.

Kanto got remade again, as people like Kanto's creatures. No-one save johtoddlers care for Johto, least of all Game freak.

You're ignoring will of Japan - Kanto is the most popular region there, followed by Sinnoh - which is why Kanto got 3 outright remakes and Sinnoh got two. They already spent time hooking in GOnormies, everyone starting today can link their POGO account to their Home account natively, without needing a shitty staging game to move them through. And now the series has surpassed Legends' style presentation, there's slim chance they go back to that format to make any new games in the type (why bother, when you can just make it open world like the rest the series?)
