If you are having an open world game you need to pack it with things to do out in the open without quests forcing you to go there. Otherwise people will explore for about an hour, then make a straight line for the objective because there's nothing to actually do in the overworld.
Thats my problem with legends.
the only reason to do any sort of exploration is to see if any of the pokemon spawn on that specific clump of land mass.
There's no cool caves to explore for things like a stamina upgrade, or a map, or Item blueprints.
The whole game feels like a open world game by someone who doesn't know what an open world game is.
