The anime stupidly gave Iris and Ash Dragonite, which prevent him from having his be his main ace. Iris should have gotten Lapras, which would have gave her legit gimmick (g-max). I don't know what you give Ash. Dragonite always seemed like a substitute for Charizard, since they couldn't let him use his.
