garde isn’t even much better, there was some huge missed potential wasted by giving it a mouth and pupils (really leaning into the alien aspect and making it slightly creepier would’ve been so much more interesting) and its weird flesh dress makes no sense, but at least it looks like it can live a normal life without screaming in pain every time it needs to sit down
