Remember that ALL of this like Aurorus not being able to learn Aurora Veil in gen 7 is a psyop by Game Freak to condition people into thinking that some Pokemon are supposed to be shit and that only pre-designated shillmons like Cinderace are the only Pokemon that matter.

I used it with metal sound as a special attacker. It's pretty good in game. With a +2, fire blast and flash cannon are pretty good

If we're allowed to call back to earlier games, Yanma back in Gen 2. It can curse, Sunny Solar Beam, or be fast enough to status something but doesn't do anything well. They were even aware of this enough to give it Wing Attack in Crystal.
