Reworked movesets, encounters and types, always get a new bro that way. I swear my favorites list just get bigger with this and Mystery dungeon.

Wonder Trade emulation in old games, expanded options so I can turn off IVs, natures, abilities and phy/spe split. Polished Crystal gets different metas this way. New and expanded areas, always a pleasure.

I agree with both points, feels like a lot of romhacks are just focused on making games overly difficult from the start instead of making a more balanced experience.
I like Drayano's hacks for the QoL features and how it buffs weaker mons to make them useable/more fun to use, aside from stuff like that though I like Reborn's Field Effects thing

Actually having to strategize and focus on attributes/modifiers other than level and type. Playing a well made fangame made me realize that official games have braindead level of difficulty.
