>>50711075I think that's subjective to you. I enjoy catching Pokemon during Mass Outbreaks and the like, and even moreso because the shiny odds are pretty high. Catching more Pokemon also gives me more rolls for better natures and moves that I will eventually be using for their respective Path of Solitude battles. And if they're not good, they get put into the grit item grinder that is releasing them. Some Pokemon when trying to catch them may run away, or may directly attack you, or a combination of both, so you need to properly approach each scenario a bit differently.
If you're complaining about catching Pokemon in a mainline Pokemon game where at the very least they changed how you actually go about that to something that's a little less static, you probably shouldn't be playing PLA. I don't blame you for not liking the activity, but it's solid and probably more than it has been in the past.
