For fuck's sake, his starter even stopped showing up for a good long time after it evolved to focus on the lizard and then the same thing happened when it fully evolved and the grass monkey showed up until they got tired of trying to do gags with it and the rabbit finaly came back because they realized "Oh shit, the show's almost over!"
He can't battle unless he either gts help or makes people more experienced and skilled then him look dumb, he gets huge captures just handed to him on a silver platter, takes up all of the screentime tha would've been better suited to Ash, his past companions and his current Pokemon team developing more naturally.
Go fucking sucks. Legit worse than Max and Tracey. He's just there as fujo bait for dumb girls and gays to fawn over and everyone knows they always have terrible taste in everything.
