As normie zoomer as it sounds, B2W2 is the best official game. It has a great selection of Monsters and challenge mode has some confidence put into it. The best Pokémon game is easily unbound. Despite being held back by the gba, it does some stuff that s*y essentials can’t do. It also looks like a gen 4 game, and has all the epicness from the cfru. The best part is the custom soundtrack.
