>>50722870To be fair, it was more like they re-tri'd the meshes from the even higher resolution quad meshes, they had to do that in a different format, and they obviously had a source texture that the 3DS one was mutilated from but had to do some other stuff since SS had a more advanced lighting system that was also different than Let's Go (which runs on more or less the same engine). It was still a really fucking bad excuse since SM managed something similar, but I'd also like to remind you that apparently they had to design the Island Trials during the debugging stage, and SS feels like they had to cut even more shit as it was. But they couldn't even include all the Pokemon from Let's Go even though all they'd need to do is fuck around with some normal textures? Fans got it half working in like a week after release. Like, there's no really good reason why Voltorb isn't in SS.
