>>50733514I think it’s more that he used careful analysis and easy logic to figure some of the stuff out. Then he made very safe guesses that are almost certainly correct because this turned into a real obsession for the guy.
Almost everything he said was actually already revealed or hinted at in trailers. Most of it not stated explicitly, but rather looking at screenshots of the inventory menu to piece together a logical explanation at for what you’re looking at. It’s kind of a “Well, no shit it works this way…” kind of thing. Almost every claim of his can be traced back this way.
“Arceus is one of the final Pokémon you face” (or however he worded it) is one that a lot of people jumped on as him totally being legit for some reason, as if that wasn’t literally the most obvious thing about the game. (Followed by doubling back and also saying it was Dialga and Palkia for good measure…)
This one (in the post) seems to be the idea that you can run into Pokémon while in the sky. Yes, we know a bit about this, and a bit of educated guessing can let us reach the same conclusion he did, that he put forth as a “leak”. You can fly in the game, and in all likelihood, I would say it’s safe to say that you can have encounters with wild flying types while up there.
Safe guess, based on information we have seen. It’s not a leak, it’s just using logic to come up with info we couldn’t see previously. I think if he presented his actual leaks as true, but offered his (honestly) unique spin on interpretation of what we are seeing, he would have been a lot better off. It’s clear to me that he really wants to be taken seriously, and puts a lot of time into researching the trailers.
