That game was made twenty years ago by a small team, the fact that modern pokemon games can't improve on certain sides of it is disappointing

The bosses have good ai for strategies especially the final that wrecks you if you come unprepared, modern pokemon games lacks that for its bosses

Pokemon games did not had that technology compared to other complex games, but they were still finished products and were ok for kids at the time, these products were not considered a life or death situation like modern folks do, just a small hobby
However as things kept evolving with the jump in 3d with x and y, the grown up fans began to wonder if gamefreak could have kept up with rest of the industry since 3d was not their thing, turns of out they didn't but still made lots of money

Colosseum was made because ruby and sapphire lacked the gen.2 mons, the game could have been just an easy ticket to give you them but instead included all of three gens mons plus a story

If you sort by user score it goes US/Y/Emerald/PLT/B2. Also, I am too lazy to see if the versions got cherrypicked (ie maybe Ultra Moon is rated lower than Ultra Sun)
