>>50764336Except it's shit tier Gen 5 animated sprite doesn't ever show it spinning. Previous animated sprites did, but going by this one you'd never guess it's supposed to spin. It just awkwardly hops and teeters around. It also specifically is inspired by capoeira, and that inspiration is totally lost if you just have it on its head at all times, able to spontaneously start spinning whenever it wants without having to build up momentum. Whoever designed this sprite clearly didn't understand what Hitmontop is supposed to be doing. This applies to a few other Gen 5 sprites as well, it almost makes me think they were contracted to some B-team interns or something. Even new Pokemon like Ferroseed and Eelektross behave completely differently from later depictions,
