>>50764721Yeah, I've played three total. Two as a player, one as the DM. And yeah, I'd say 95% of this system is fluff that can be ignored until it can't be. Luckily you can easily tell what you can and can't ignore depending on how your players make their characters. Like I have four players in my current game right now: two want to focus on contests, one wants your standard Pokemon League, and the other is a former Team Rocket grunt trying to escape his past. Other than maybe the Team Rocket grunt, no one has any interest in using any of the combat maneuvers, so I can pretty much safely put those on the backburner.
