You could make that stretch since gen 2.
Females: Lugia, Kyogre, Palkia, Reshiram, Yveltal, Lunala, Zacian, the blue serpent.
Males:Ho-oh, Groudon, Dialga, Zekrom, Xerneas, Solgaleo, Zamazenta, the red biped

Lugia and Kyogre are represented by the moon while Ho-Oh and Groudon are represented by the sun, these are traditionally linked to female and male, like it happens with Lunala and Solgaleo, and you could stretch Palkia as female with Dialga as male for Irida and Adaman, but Reshiram and Zekrom have nothing like that.
Also Xerneas is clearly the female of the duo you retard, it literally has the female only chromosome (X).

Nah, Sugi confirmed it’s the opposite. Reshiram is the feminine one and Zekrom the masculine one. You have to remember they were on opposite boxes for the gen, so they’re themed opposite.

Shudo was the showrunner/writer, not the creator of the cartoon (if anything, that was Iwata, who understood a cartoon would help sell the brand to kids better. King of Toys, remember?). And Sugimori and Iwata both outrank some who writer, particularly when they're laying out a three year marketing roadmap for the moncap series they curate.
Designers rarely get their design added as intended (the creator of Jelicent despises the fact it got part-Ghost slapped on it). But all of them can accept fundamental changes in their presentation without pills and booze abuse to center themselves, unlike trannies.
