To be accurate to it's heat, it should have an extra hundred or so in the special stats, and the HP needed to whether that heat/manage that heat generation also ought to be comparable. It just makes sense, it's not like a punch would hurt the sun right?

It shouldn't have the Rock type, it's too hot for that, but it should have the Molten ability, which boosts Fire and Rock type moves by 20% and removes Water type weakness.

It should also get a new move called Heat Flow, which simply subjects the opponent to the heat inside the user. It has a variable power that depends on the Pokemon type and species: non-Fire type other species have 40BP, Fire type other species have 80-120BP, and Fire type Lava Pokemon have 160BP. 100 ACC, 5 PP.
It's still a bit weak but at least we haven't gone overboard.
