Cynically, I see how GF design Galar with it's "multiculturalism" as the moment they opened up with "diversity wave" (some shitposts said it's Turner who sabotaged GF to be more inclusive). Unova, Kalos have shares of shitskins which reflects NY and France (even those shitskins are still on acceptable level. Alola is skeptically just "all tanned skin due to sunlight"). But it's at Galar where it's all blatantly shilled
Also, I see GF views on picking Spain & Portugal as gen IX "more than enough" to also represent Latam because language similarity
