I hate Sun/Moon and their Ultra sequel because of gymcut and teamvillaincut and topdownvisualcut!

I hate SwSh for NationalDexCut!

I like BPSD because is an another UltraConservative Pokémon game! But is shit because has no NationalDex!

I hate PLA because is not a real Pokémon game! Is just a much worsen Monster Hunter or a much worsen Zelda, definetely is not a real Pokémon game!

PLA is the first real game since ORAS.

The reason PLA comes close is because it at least has the core gameplay loop intact, which was lost in Gen 7 for visual-novel style gameplay.

Well then it's a good thing SM and USUM had the national dex

Nope. Alola is the first region to be designed like a 3D game and structured like a linear theme park with no dungeons or looping side routes for backtracking.
Gyms being cut at the last minute has no bearing on how the game actually plays. Galar has gyms and it's the same gameplay loop as Gen 7 instead of being a proper game, too.

Sun and Moon was nothing but corridors without HMs. There were barely any optional areas and there wasn't even a victory road.

Do you really think OP ever intended the thread to go in another direction with the implication that nothing after XY was a "real" pokemon game? The Kalos fans' obsession with gen 7 and 8 takes up almost as much space in their head as their obsession with gen 5.

No that's exactly my point. The Discord can't cope with Gen 7 and 8 being better with Gen 6 and attempts to put them on the same level as Gen 5.
