Gen 6 didn't have a proper conclusion for the buildup that XY and ORAS left, and not even GameFreak had any faith in it with Yokai Watch coming out around the same time and the growing pains of the swap to 3D. No one cares about it because all that buildup that would have made it kino was for nothing and anyone who would actually enjoy the gameplay loop that XYORAS does do right would just play BWBW2 instead since they execute it better and actually have the proper payoff.
Being a Kalos fan must be so bitter when you're the punching bag for the older games and newer games alike and games like SM/USUM/SWSH get put on a pedestal for removing all the good shit you added while you simultaneously are the only one criticized for the bad that's exclusive to those games.
