Because Hoenn's remakes have been made so the region is done. Same with Sinnoh now. The darkest days are behind us. The future may not be very bright but it'll never be as bad as Hoenn and Sinnoh again

How many casuals went to the Battle Frontier, got destroyed quickly because turns out they suck shit at the game and literally anyone can beat the baby mode campaign, and then wrote to Nintendo to bitch about how hard it was. It’s pretty clear though we’ll never get even a standard battle tower again after how piss easy SWSH’s was

The Battle Factory might be the hardest facility, but it's also the most fun because you get to use different teams every time. I'd rather lose my streak there than in the Battle Palace or the Tower.

Discorders wouldn't acknowledge that other things in gen 3 are based, like the real time clock, the rematches being better than in gen 2 and the ability to cook berries and do contest if one is into that. the frontier is ok but not too based like you claim.

Ugh I hate battle facilities. Id rather use showdown for that kind of thing. You can play any past gens/tiers including gen 3 OU which is surprisingly active.

I also hate hoennbabs who use this to cover up for the almost complete lack of other postgame.

A lot of them have maybe 1 perfect stat. I did Dome first because there's zero IVs in everything there.
It does take a while for training in Gen 3, but there were loads of other Pokemon (Heracross, Salamence, Raikou, Zapdos, Ninetales, Aggron, Breloom, etc) that I trained but ultimately did not use.
Probably closer to a box's worth, but I spent 3 1/2 years on the Battle Frontier.

Yes. You would need at least one good stat'd Regi (Registeel is the baselevel best one), maybe Starmie to counter Ground/Fire/Fighting types and then maybe Flygon if you wanted to make sure you are safe from Electric type moves.
Most if not all teambuilding in 3v3 formats is about high offensive and defensive coverage which Registeel/Starmie/Flygon could potentially give you.
Also, just use Slaking at the Pyramid. When you find a choice band, you just win. All battles are 3v1 there due to it being about endurance.
