I don't believe it's actually a blank. It's probably abstract and they struggle to interpret it so they can only convey blankness. When I imagine things they're visually black and white but I can feel/taste the colour they're supposed to be; this even applies to complete inventions or things that I've never encountered before, so it's not simply memory of a colour.

I used to post on The Pokemasters forums a LOT.
Reading fanfic and playing in the RPGs felt really important. Going on AIM and talking in the chat with the clique felt right. As a Canadian talking to those people introduced me to people from all over the USA. Like I didn't even know New Mexico was a state. I thought it must be related to Mexico City, somehow. It really died out hard. But there was that core group of users that kept it going. Pretty sure most of the holdouts had legit aspergers/autism. I still have a few of those people on my Facebook that I haven't used since like 2016. We don't talk or interact but it's nice to see their posts sometimes.

I can still find my posts on TPC from 2003-2005 without having to go use the archives. Unfortunately Serebii's stuff only goes back to 2005 and gameshark is dead but those were around since before TPC. There were tons of smaller pokemon fansites that had their own forums too hosted on invisionfree, ipbfree and others. Spending endless hours going through those and interacting and making friends with either pedos or little kids like myself. Really miss those times. Using the internet up until 2005 or so was like going on an adventure

I honestly can't visualize people's faces clearly in my mind. Like obviously I'd recognize it if I see them sort of thing, but closing my eyes and visualizing a face is impossible for me. There's even people I've known for years that I just completely blank on even describing what they look like.

However I can very easily imagine entire songs in my head almost as vividly as if I hear them in real life. I don't know, maybe I'm just an auditory kind of guy.
