Venemoth had yellow patches on it's wings. These were removed mid-way through development of Ruby/Sapphire; Venemoth's code in those games has a shade of yellow in it's color pallet that went entirely unused.

Venemoth (and Venonat) haven't appeared in ANY regional Pokédex since G/S/C.
