Combining rock and ground into earth type and combining water and ice into a single water type does not work

>Grass and dragon resists water
>Grass and dragon are weak to ice
>Fire resists ice
>Fire is weak to water

>Flying is immune to ground
>Flying is weak to rock
>Steel resists rock
>Steel is weak to ground
>Bug resists ground
>Bug is weak to rock

maybe Flying would be a bit too good with this, though.

combining Water with Ice is retarded though, who thought of that? lol

This all said, Rock and Ground being separate types wouldn’t be so bad if they would just get more creative with Rock type Pokemon, like making more Pokémon and moves based on gems, minerals, and other types of stones.
