>>50800844>>50800882he thinks the players are retards who wont know how to play the game unless he basically makes it play itself. the reason exp share cant be turned off is because he was worried some kid might accidentally turn it off and not figure out how to turn it on again, which would ruin the game for them, so he opted to keep it on for everyone and make us swap out mons we dont want getting exp. his fears are unrealistic, people played pokemon just fine when it had ridiculous secret ways to do things, and that was before the internet was as big a thing as it is now. i understand the current young generation is used to mobile games and everything being in your face no effort easy, but by that token just hide the exp share/other "game breaking" options somewhere those shitass lazy kids wont look? theres plenty of existing things in the settings tab that could have a similar effect on enjoyability of the game if all it takes for someone to quit is their mons not gaining 10 levels every battle despite never participating, he needs to stop treating the entire playerbase like a bunch of idiots just because of these fears, and hes only contributing to a lazier generation of gamers (zoomers) by enabling them to never have to work hard to accomplish anything. people love to argue "youve just gotten older and more skilled, the games were always for children" no. they were for people who wanted to play a game. the current games may as well be picture books, pretty soon theyll put voice acting and just make it a visual novel people can listen to while doing something else. if he doesnt want to make real games he should leave the industry and focus on pay to play apps already
