Stirred a LOT of controversy because the film dedicates a lot of time and effort to filming actual little girls dance provocatively in revealing clothing. People on the left defended it to the death, calling it art (and many prominent supporters of the movie got outed as convicted child molesters), and people on the right who never watched it fought to get it pulled from all hosts because they didn’t realise the movie’s message agreed with the conservative point that children shouldn’t be sexualised
