She looks like a regular trainer and active person wearing a school uniform. It total makes sense. The small, green hair highlight is one of her few stand-out features.

Compared to the very bland design of the MCs for this region, I'd much prefer is she was the default trainer. At least with customization you'd still have a nice base to work with.

I feel like since gen 6, every character has just been "made to be customized" rather than being a solid design to customize later.
