Sometimes, I would find some when I was just EV training/leveling up stuff, and of course I found other random shinies when doing Dynamax Adventures for specific things.

Shiny Magikarp while looking for a Feebas to SOS and then as I was being autistic when hunting a shiny Magby, I was looking a Magmarizer-holding Magby to start my chain and ran from one without it and the next encounter was a shiny __Male salandit Had two girls, one with HA, at that stage, so got the set.

Why not just cut out the middleman and use a Ditto?
If you have a means of getting your Gyarados on a Gen 1 game you can use the Mimic Glitch to get a Shiny Ditto. I've used it to get some bitching Shinies for Stadium 2.

at least she took half the time of the zigzagoon, only 7247 REs
totally looking for a reclaim now, that was the shiny I wanted most in the Plains and I refuse to be denied such a mon more than once

not while hunting, but loads of times randomly. Bellsprout, Gastly, Raticate, Venipede, Pidgey, Magikarp and Poochyena come to mind but I'm sure i've found more lol. Does finding the shiny Magikarp while hunting for a regular Feebas count?

no, I'll never play those games again. It's scummy and awful, but what isn't (in relation to Pokemon) these days? Fans will probably find some alternative method to do this anyways if they haven't already, and I really don't care for making my shinies look worse just so I can pet them

Should only be like a week or two, I still like doing this hobby but it gets really tedious sometimes haha. Finally after 5457 resets, a full odds pheromosa.

Got the right nature and good enough IV spread too. Was sooo happy.

Hunted this at 100% speed despite emulator for the true authentic experience.

My first soft reset shiny. Can't wait to transfer to pokemon home

Yes, but seeing how Dexit is the future of the franchise and those in charge have no intentions of changing, I'm satisfied that all of my many Shinies will at least be stuck in Gen 7.

the repel trick not working with the poke radar makes getting eevee to show up quite a boring task

can anyone who's bred in crystal tell me whether special attack or special defense determines the special DV? i keep getting eggs with 11 special attack and 10 special defense and i can't find a decent source

Returned to 6th Gen a few days ago to catch myself a Shiny from the Friend Safari for my birthday but failed.
Tried to catch one from swarm encounters afterwards but failed with that too.

Someone was kind enough to trade me a Japanese Tepig yesterday and I got my shiny in less than an hour of doing the Mauda method :)

I played a little on emultors, got a shiny Ditto from the mimic glitch and wanted to try to hatch a few eggs.

Why the fuck does it takes so long? Even if it is 1/64 it isn't worth it. Unless you speed up I guess.
