Kalos Pokemon are generally good. The Super Size Gourgeist has 100 Attack, 122 Defense, 85 HP. Decent.

And Z-Trick or Treat in Gen 7 is fucking kino.

The ONLY thing that could possibly make gourgeist more perfect is better special attack (has a great special movepool, but nothing to use it) and more distinction between its forms (you always see extra large for the bulk or small for the speed, but medium and large overlap too much). Maybe if each size got a different ability (infiltrator, prankster, harvest)

So whatever version of halloween they celebrate in the pokemon world, since kids and adults alike all dress up as pokemon, it wouldn't be too hard to assume life-sized gourgeists can infiltrate the population and be mistaken for very well made costumes until it's too late

Or maybe they can really use magic to appear in human form. It wouldn't be the weirdest thing ghost pokemon have been portrayed doing.

Mismagius is one of the least aggressive ghost types with somewhat funny lore, it's still an asshole but not hell dragging in the slightest

It either causes bad luck, headaches and hallucinations or brings good fortune and probably tricks someone to fall in love, although it's not clear if the person becomes infatuated with the Mismagius or are desperate to get one to make someone else fall in love

Seriously the other not outright evil ghost are

>Poltergeist who is just weird tea with an attitude
>Banette is just a toy on a revenge story
>Marowak has a bit of houndoom flame problem but it's somewhat chill
>Cursola hates being kicked
>Sableye just want to eat carbink
>Dusknoir is either a guy with good work ethic or an edgy predator
>Rotom is a prankster
>Golurk is just cool
>Dragapult is a shitty teen mom
>And Decidueye is just a hoot hoot that wants to be edgy
