>>50904451Absolutely play Red. It rules. Ignore dumb dumbs complaining about glitches or balance. Literally none of that matters, it plays the same as every Pokemon game that came after, and in fact some of the glitches are fun if you're into that.
Yellow's not as good. It doesn't have the freaky monstery sprites, and the more standardized sprites don't look as good as the Gold/Silver ones. The game just doesn't feel quite right overall compared to Red/Blue.
