Yes they got the mega treatment but it felt like they kind of had to and those megas are moot at this point considering all megas no longer technically are available. And if you just look at the stretch of all Pokemon that we have, and who consistently reappear or get something, Generation 3 has a few favorites but as a whole that Dex feels like it needs a second look. It's the last dex where there are still a lot of one off single stage Pokemon that are garbage, there are still a lot of Pokemon with poor move sets or abilities or stat distributions, and there's a lot of Pokemon in that dex who feel like they deserve a little bit more TLC in general but you could argue that about a lot of other generations too. It just feels though like of all the generations it is becoming a little neglected
>>50911371>>50911386Pokemon is in a weird spot with teenagers but it's the same as it was when I was in high school. Little kids love that shit, grown adults who grew up with it love it, and then the teenagers is pretty much just the weird ones who still like it and everybody else pretends they don't. I think that's one of the things Pokemon does for people where they ReDiscover it after High School or what have you. It's clearly happening with millennials and gen Z and Pokemon cards. And as I stated earlier, Generation 3 is in this weird spot where it's just a little too old and a little too new where anyone who grew up playing it isn't quite raising their own kids yet so they're probably out there buying the cards and having nostalgia but they're not quite at that point where they're going to start demanding product for their children like millennials do for the first two generations. And any teenagers who are into Pokemon now would have grown up with generation 5, 6 or 7, so those are the ones they'll have nostalgia for
