>>50908137I was thinking that too. Reminded me of the time that both Zelda and Mario introduced rival characters wearing rabbit hoods in the same year. Nintendo does have a weird habit of introducing the same sort of designs into multiple games around the same time, I think because the different teams working close proximity. And Game Freak did get moved to the main headquarters so they can be closer watched / helped more easily so it totally makes sense they may have seen that design and decided to use it
