Since Scarlet and Violet have the whole past and future thing going on, what if they purposefully tried to mimic old design philosophies for some of the new pokemon? Like you get some kaiju looking mons with Toriyama eyes mimicing gen 1, you get some mons with spikes lapped on them like gen 4, etc. Each generation has very different design philosophies so having the new batch of pokemon be this mix trying to replicate all previous generations while also still having pokemon made with Game Freak's modern design philosophy could be neat. Yes, I know this isn't going to happen, it was just an idea I had.
