>>50920978The thing is that new mons are the biggest appeal about any new game, especially with how the last remakes turned out. Even if the game itself turns out to overall kind of suck, the existence of new mons themselves will obviously live out the game they were in, and there’s still stuff that people can do with them whether it’s porn or PTU or just simply liking the design or whatever else. Obviously normal people want these games to be good but if there are barely any likeable mons what’s the point? Even if he game sucks just having cool new designs still presents a lot of opportunities of shit you can do with them for free/without actually buying the game they’re introduced in. The likelihood of us getting a dex Unova’s size again is incredibly low, but I’d at least like them to continue with having enough new mons that I can make a team full of entirely (or at least 5 plus my no.1 favourite) new mons each new game that isn’t a remake.
