Instead of making old Pokémon regionals, why not make new Pokemon that are regionals based on the regions they’re in? You could do a Sphinx for Egypt, a Moai head for Chile, a Leprechaun for Ireland, etc etc. It would make the idea of regionals actually interesting other than “oh Pansear is exclusive to Europe and Africa for some reason, okay”
