>>50956571This is only a problem because they didn't do it from the start, the national dex is simply the best way to order Pokemon and it's by generation, but it's something TPCi has been trying to eliminate because it has always been confusing, all the way back with the likes of Pichu (#172) evolving into Pikachu (#25)
I've seen threads here dedicated to giving regional forms names and they should have always been their own species, and they always have as much effort put into them as new species so I don't see why this would be "taking slots"
It'll be cool seeing different forms of the same Pokemon interacting for once, you just know they've been wanting to do it since Alolan Vulpix has been a thing
