I kinda wish we had a better fossil mon for SwSh. It bothers me that our only attempt to have a velociraptor fossil mon was wasted on their gimmick of mix and match fossils.

For me Bastiodon head looks like Pachyrhinosaurus (i´m awere of castle theme). Big flat nose and usually two big spikes top off the head. The rest of the body looks like a tortoise minus the shell?

I've loved Bastiodons design since it's inception and I've never used it because it's so boring and useless. I wish they would fucking change that. I'm a karenfag too, I use a lot of shitty Pokemon very regularly with unconventional sets but good god Bastiodon is just in a tier of uselessness that even I cannot deal with. You can't even attempt to do anything fun with that Pokemon.

Someone on twitter posted the newly added Amaura-Aurorus section, the two worth noting things are.

Why do gamefreak not lean into fossils more.
There's so many fucking cool dinosaurs you could have a whole area based around them.
Imagine a digging minigame like fossil fighters. Better you do, better IV the pokemon is made with.
