Can't learn if you don't try, pick up some cheap shit (actual paints/brushes, or a tablet if you wanna go digital) and just mess around with it for a few days to get a feel for how to use it, then follow a few tutorials on youtube to learn some basics and form a foundation to build off of. You don't even have to share the messy beginner stuff (or your later, improved stuff) if you don't want to, but even if it's not great you still would have made something and that's more than people who never try can say.
