Not the same anon but all it takes is one bad mistake and I've seen popular series die from stupid and easily avoidable decisions.

Though then again I'm genuinely surprised the Dexcut wasn't a death blow. I think even when it was first partially announced at E3 they were really nervous to outright say it. They knew what they were doing was idiotic and Any excuse would just be throwing gasoline on a fire.

I'm going to make this very clear, they better not push out Gen 10 in 2025. The 30th fucking anniversary is the following year. SV shouldn't even be coming this year and the leaks are proving that. We don't need 3 year cycles. The whole merchandise/anime thing is an excuse to keep running this scam. If they do yet another 3 year cycle we're fucking doomed and the Gen 10 game will be even worse.

It's time for people who actually care about this series to take a stand because Gamefreak and TPC are just out of control.

Problem is that Pokemon is pretty much too big too fail. It is THE BIGGEST multimedia franchise, easily dwarfing over even Disney.
Death of Pokemon would need a massive cultural shift or long term mismanaging of entire franchise. Few shitty games or lol dexcut are not even close to it.

These games are not expensive to make, they are extremely rushed and half assed so the profits margins are obscene.
