Assuming you can't change the launch date, then there's basically nothing you could do in that timespan. The game goes gold 1-2 months before release so realistically you've got four months to work, and at that point in development you're not making any fundamental changes.

There isn't enough you can really do major with that little time left. That said, I would mainly focus on quality of life changes like a non-convoluted skip function, better balancing in some cases, and some updates to the graphics. Couldn't make fundamental changes to stuff like level design, and even the story would be hard to salvage since the entire game's scenario is build around it. If I had more time, those would be the two areas that I feel would need the most improvement, but neither would be priorities with this time span.

Cancel all development on the wild area, redirect those level designers to work on the existing routes and begin working on the non-existent victory road.
Make it very clear to Mr. Masuda that removing Pokemon and moves is unacceptable given how trivial it is to port their existing assets and code.
Go on a schizophrenic rant on the grave importance of tree texture fidelity and turning around animations for the legendaries.

Honestly I'd let SwSh launch as is and try to work on a proper follow up. 6 months isn't enough time. Best we can hope to do how is be the Paltinum equivalent of a follow up. Plus we already know Swsh is going to sell well.
