Like the pattern going for the final stage (Charizard), then the first stage (Cyndaquil), then went for the whole line for 3 gens, then first stage again (Fennekin), back to final stage (Incineroar), and the full stage again. Or how Cyndaquil fits only because it’s classified as Fire Mouse, but then suddenly doesn’t count when Typhlosion is a volcano or Charizard is a flame.
2. Ditching the Chinese Zodiac before even completing it for another Zodiac is a big hole in the theory. How could the Zodiac theory be consistent if they don’t even finish a Zodiac before moving onto another one? Also dropping a pattern entirely has never been done by GameFreak what so ever.
3. With how much stretching you have demonstrated, what exactly is stopping you from just claim something like a Spoon Fire Starter or something is part of the Zodiac? You can’t be a pattern unless there is a scenario where you can be broken.
