I hate that they changed the SNES in your room to an NES. I hate that Brock uses Bind instead of Bide. I hate that Moltres isn't in Victory Road. I hate that Lavender Town isn't a pale white. I hate that the Rock Tunnel is a black circle instead of being dark but barely visible. I hate that I can't give the gate guards any drink of my choosing. I hate that the "gamblers" are "gamers" now. I hate that I'm whisked away to Sevii after beating Blaine. I hate that they even ask. I don't care that I can say no.
All these stupid differences don't matter at all and for some reason they feel like an assault on my perfect crystalized memory of what these games should be because I played Blue in 1998 before FireRed in 2004.
