Depends on what device you use. IOS for the most part yes, Androids no. also the 30 dollars is the ticket price for the in house GO fest events in the three cities. Even if you spoof, if you dont have a ticket, you get nothing.

Looks like someone doing raid pass farming/selling; people on ebay/discord can sell you raid passes for way cheaper than store prices by making a ton of spoofer alts, using your referral code and then completing a few raids. Then you can redeem a free premium pass per account added once they complete that milestone. You could also do it yourself to farm infinite passes if you have enough phones/patience.

I bought 50 passes from someone doing this so I could raid mewtwo, was way worth it because for the same price I would have only been able to buy enough pokecoins for 17 passes.

Mega Gengar is a comfortable trio, possible duo with a team of Mewtwo and Brutal Swing Hydreigon. You will need two teams though.
Mewtwo has top DPS but lacks durability.
Hydreigon won't like Focus Blast, but Mewtwo can weather that.

Looking at CalcyIV battle sim, I wonder if it could be solo'd if I had a bunch more level 50 Hydreigon and a few more level 40 Mewtwo.

Niantic/Hanke will never admit this, but the algorithm is not perfect, sometimes broke.

Multiple times I've had GBL rewards with the exact same IV spread 2-3 times in a row, sometimes across the same and sometimes across different Pokémon.
If I get a full-odds shiny it feels like my chances of seeing a second or third in the day are higher.
I've encountered perfect wild-caught Pokémon back-to-back.

Somethin's fucky. I would expect regular community reports of this stuff due to the sheer volume of accounts playing the game, but it happens to me too often as a filthy casual sub-40 to ignore it.

You either run 3x anti Wynaut or you try and build a wynaut team.

Dragon's are really good at stopping Drifloon/Shelmet for Wynaut sweeps, and if your wynaut is bulky enough it can 1v1 Seel as well.

I don't see it coming back even if actually obtaining 296XL of something out of rotation via defit isn't quite as fast or efficient as people make it out to be, which is the dead parrot defence for removing MLC entirely
but considering the amount of ML mons with no PvE viability and the unwillingness for many of them to start generating and spending XL on them it just means there's less people playing GBL than there would be
I have (effective) 4* of ho-oh, palkia, lugia and giratina-altered but I'm not going massively out of my way to level them up if they're not usable for raids and MLC is gone

This has turned an already frustrating week even more sour. There's no way I would be able to duo a Tier 4 Hisuian Braviary without a much stronger alt. than what I have.

I've decided to run the calculations in Pokebattler using Sigilyph to prove my point (it has slightly higher defense, but slightly lower attack than Hisuian Braviary, so about the same overall). It is impossible, regardless of level or weather to do a duo if it's a Tier 4 raid. If it's instead, however, a Tier 3 raid, it will be pretty easy for anyone that has decent lvl. 40 dark, electric, ghost or rock-type counters, however I doubt this will be the case since it would be unprecedented for a raid day to feature a Tier 3 raid Pokémon.

Point being, it seems like we'll need to be forced to coordinate unless we're spoofers or people with enough alt. accounts to solo a Dialga.

Giving you the benefit of the doubt, you either were able to receive those notifications but were unable to join those raid, or your game wasn’t updated to the latest version that made Tier 4 raids function properly. Regardless, I didn’t even have the option to send invites for Staravia raids, so they’ve definitely fixed it by now if it was a bug.

Because Niantic hadn't properly implemented that "can't invite people" part of "in-person raids" yet.

I was able to send invites to the Zweilous raids too, of course they didn't work. They corrected that for the Staravia raids, though.

I am at my wit's end with UL. Dropped from 2300 to 2000 running swampert, Machamp, Snorlax because I have fuck all to play with.
Can someone recommend me a team that:
Doesn't have cresselia, Giratina or Walrein and

This company is just removing features, removing items, removing, anything for the F2P'ers.
Do they give even a single shit about player incentive?
Is this even economy minded excuses, anymore or is this full on fuck the poors?

Cause here is a personal anecdote my rate of raids has gone from 3 times a week to 1 time ever other week.

They removed the freebies for Go weekend too and then released double raid 2x as if people didn't already just spend.

My theory after seeing this weekend is that they're going to siphon shitmon that cant stall an entry then a legendary/psuddo legend mega most likely the Hoenn Trio to bring back the audience. Actually next year is going to be JUST Hoenn and new Pokemon cameos.

The company’s brain is rotting away because they’re apparently bleeding money since no one cares about GO anymore and Hanke hasn’t found anything to replace it. Say what you want, but the location data was their biggest ticket, and while they may try, trying to get people to buy more remote raid passes at higher prices will never carry them the distance they used to go with location data. My money’s on Niantic being on suicide watch no later than 2026.
