Alain was fighting #1 and lost for the sake of the plot I wish people stopped acting like fucktards and understood that contextually writing prospect wise Alain should've ran Bisharp and Malamar (Thunder Wave and then Guillotine/Iron Head spam Malamar comes in and spams superpower/psycho cut) bad writing was the issue. Alain having DDance on his Charizard would've meant an easy win but hey that's pokemon for you

I said Steven should've at least been wary and run rock polish, he had Psychic,Meteor mash,Flash cannon, could've ran Rock Polish/Automize as his 4th move cause you don't know what an enemy can plan when their back is to the wall he lost because of no proper stratagem, he didn't have Rock Polish for his aggron he could've swept unironically if he did cause after gengar a pikachu is nothing towards an aggron

Most of the SM stuff was bad too. People overhype the beam struggle at the end, but the only part I liked about the Kukui battle was Naganadel vs Tapu Koko for having the only decent action. The Gladion battle was also a joke.
