You literally don't have to do anything to play and enjoy the Battle Factory. EVs are unnecessary. IVs shouldn't exist

I agree with the IVs part. It's so fucking arbitrary and autistic. Like I want to waste fucking ages sperging out over if my IVs are perfect or agonizingly close to perfect. EVs are cool for customizing pokemon stats, but kinda annoying in-game

Because ivs's actually matter and if you play around with the showdown calculator, you'll see that. Iv's have more impact than natures

Its not hard to get 1 iv mon with above15 ivs in each stat.

this is only true of the tower (70 consecutive battles for gold is too many and the majority of those battles are breezing past NFEs until you get into the final third and get haxxed by a quick claw proc and have to start from zero) and the gimmick battle where you can't pick a move so the optimal play is to delete everything apart from your mon's best stab and pray to get good type matchups

Why play sword and shield when it's an even bigger grind with no real gameplay?
XY was far better at removing grind, if I wanted to play a game with little substance and only focus on that I'd just play the better of the three that are like that.

Disagree. SwSh has the fastest grind, assuming you have access to the DLC (which is scummy). It’s the easiest game to get all of the relevant tools, and you can fix things via caps / mints / patches if you’re impatient.

I would also argue that SwSh has one of the most enjoyable battle towers simply because it allows for more viable team builds (it’s easier). Shame that there aren’t more facilities, though.

In general psychic and water types are really good. Gardevoir, Starmie, Metagross, Milotic, Swampert are all great.
Other good options are Spore Breloom, Slaking, and Regice. Unfortunately without Latios or trading I don't think one team fits all, you'll just have to experiment

I wouldn't reccomend that for a starting team. Though. Just pick your favorites and get silvers first
