You posted it. They really went all out on the visual presentation for these guys, and while Dark/Fighting/Psychic/Ghost were all popular Elite 4 types even then, having all 4 together felt really solid as opposed to something like Dragon in the mix. I don't know how to explain it

It really bothers me how Sinnoh's Elite Four is completely forgotten because Cynthia exists. Bertha in particular is especially underrated. There was nothing more terrifying to kid me than when my under-leveled Abomasnow was sent to die via Whiscash's Fissure. That was the first time I ever lost a Pokémon to a one-hit KO move and it kind of disappoints me that she gave it up for Earth Power in Platinum.

I think the most memorable for me is gen 1, even though I played gen3 a lot more than that.

Drasna is the only one that doesn't fit in like the rest. But she did move to Kalos from Sinnoh, maybe because there are so many dragon types in Kalos.

Kalos League had great presentation, music, and even decent Pokemon choices for the most part. Just give them a Mega in their 5th slot, and I'd call this the best. Blastoise, Houndoom, Aggron, Garchomp.

Probably Alola, just because most E4's are full of non-characters who only appear right before you battle them.
Hala, Olivia, Acerola, and Molayne are all established characters who you get to see and have an idea of their personality long before you fight them as the E4.
Kahili comes out of nowhere, but she's also really cute so that makes up for it.
