Due to that, the site's reputation became a bit less respectable than Pixiv since it's so focused on lolita art on the front. While it doesn't have censor policy like Pixiv, less new artists arent visiting the site.
There was another attempt by prudes to chase after artists who beings content to the site so they got some hacker and a group of reporters to go after their discord accounts and servers. One of my close buddies got affected by it, so they lost their account and had to make another one not in the reach of prudes or nigcord admins.
The other issue with Baraag is that ever since they embraced their following, a bunch of lurking true MAPs starting to browse the site. Some from instances like "Pedo School" or from sites like AllTheFallen and such. They didn't want their asses around, so they set up a system on detecting users with "dangerous" followings and posts.
That system didn't do much on another artist (not the one on the OP) who didn't care if some of the worse people is following him, so he didn't bother to do clean up. So they freezed his account, did the clean up and removed the uploads that were attracting too much attention from that group.
This frustrated the artist, who had nothing to do with who follows him, so he stop frequenting the site and did a second account for animated content.
