GenWunturds are seething that programmers didn't waste space putting the rest of Viridian forest even though it was a lame bloated early game waste of space that no one tucking cared about in the first place.

Fuck the wind, fuck taking one step and immediately walking into a dust cloud, fuck the janky grind-rail mechanics, fuck the Pokemon distribution. The only good thing about this Route is that Badlands are a rare route theme in Pokemon.

Simplification of Viridian Forest aside, there are no grass tiles in there meaning it's literally just a waste of your time.

They had to merge the wild mons of Route 2 and Viridian Forest for this route. Pikachu now appears in Route 2 rather than Viridian Forest because it's the closest. Not complaining but it's an interesting bit of trivial imo
